I love this law, and simply because it is by far the easiest and most realistic to execute. Misery loves company, but make sure it is never yours Infections are dangerous, and to associate yourself with those who are unfortunate, unlucky and negative means you will inevitably fall ill and suffer the same infection as them. In the game of power, the people you associate with are CRITICAL. Yet their efforts, though well intentioned, called for their own downfall and demise.įlee the infector’s presence or suffer the consequences. While all these men tried to help her, the truth they failed to realize was that she could not be helped. It was mental and far scarier, it was emotional. She drew these men in, and her power over them was more than just sexual. This sent him into a deep and alcohol filled depression where he stayed until he died a few years later. Then the man who wrote her autobiography went bankruptĪnd finally when she moved to California she married a man named Paul Hutt who she then left for another man. This time he went by the name George Tafford Heald, and thanks to her he lost his position in the army, was ostracized from English society, and lived out the rest of his days in poverty.
Lola then moved to England and as you can now guess, she was the demise of another man’s life. The people of Bavaria did not like this and a once peaceful land was now on the brink of civil war.įinally the King ordered Lola to leave Bavaria, but before doing so she made sure he got his reckoning and shortly after he was forced to abdicate. Lola’s influence soon took hold of the palace, and eventually the whole kingdom. This of course went to her head and quickly she started to abuse her power against her subordinates. Soon after she was seen by his side in social and public events, showered with the finest of goods and jewels, and living the life of a queen. After exposing her bare breast to the man in an “failed” attempt to gain his audience, she debuted the Bavarian stage and continued to do so at Ludwigs arrangement. Her next victim to be was King Ludwig of Bavaria. Lola left Paris and in 1846 found herself in Munich The critic named Beauvallon challenged him to a duel in which during so, Alexander was shot dead. His friends began to avoid him, his business was losing money, and one night while out at a social event he got drunk and insulted an influential drama critic (perhaps over what he said about Lola). After making the man fall in love, she got her dancing career back and her status was growing. She decided to take advantage of him and his status, and that she did. As the owner of France’s largest circulating newspaper, and drama critic writer, Alexander Dujarier was who she needed. Still clinging to the dream of being a dancer, she knew of one man who could help salvage her career.
This dream was short lived as by 1845 her career was diminishing and she soon decided to become a courtesan, a very successful one at that. In the 1840s a young lady by the name of Marie Gilbert (a.k.a Lola Martinez ) moved to Paris hoping to make it big as a dancer and performer.
